Date of Establishment Mr. M. D. Jindal made an agreement with Himont in 1994 and installed R&D facility in 1995 with an idea of being the captive supplier to Maruti.
Commencement of Business November, 1996 - Started commercial production in technical collaboration with Himont Inc., formerly Machino Polymer Limited

February 06,1999 - 50:50 Joint Venture was formed between Basell (formerly Montell through its investment arm Basell International Holdings B.V.) & Machino Plastics Limited. Name changed to Machino-Montell India Limited in July 1999. Name changed to Machino-Basell India Limited in Jan 2001.

January, 2007- Name changed back to Machino Polymers Ltd.
